[At 100th scale a superb model can be built to show all materials and textures to display your development to its best advantage. Much the same effect can be achieved at 150th scale too. The model can be illuminated, as both the top and bottom right models were, to draw attentin, or to highlight individual apartments. More simple massing models (below left) can be used to help resolve and illustrate complex shapes, or assist with massing or planning issues. Or small scale models such as Hanwell Locks (top left) at 1000th scale can show large areas. The two lift outs fit into the space with the finger hole to illustrate the before and after condition.]
